What to Expect

Follow the Migration – depending on the time of the year and the rains it will determine where you will spend the most time in the Serengeti NP.

  • End of September – early November the migration enters the Serengeti at the north.
  • Early November – mid-December
  • May – June the herds are around the Seronera Area of Central Serengeti.
  • Mid-December to May the herds are in the south around Lake Ndutu,
  • late May – early July they are on their way north through the western corridor.
Day 1 – Lake Manyara

07.30h depart from Arusha to Lake Manyara NP (2.5 hours drive) for morning and afternoon unlimited game viewing in the park. Picnic lunch. Continue to Karatu (30 minutes drive) for dinner and overnight at Country Lodge.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater

Breakfast at the lodge. 07.30h Descend into the crater floor for half day (5 hours) crater tour. Picnic lunch. 13.30h drive to Serengeti NP (17.30h) for dinner and overnight at Tingitana Central Camp.


Day 3 – Serengeti NationalPark

06.30h early morning game viewing. Breakfast at the camp. 10.00h drive to Kogatende Area in North Serengeti (2 hours drive) with game viewing and picnic lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Tingitana North Camp.

Follow the Migration:
22.12. to 28.02. – 1 X Tingitana Ndutu Camp (Lake Ndutu Area) and 1 X Tingitana Central Camp

01.03. to 30.06. – 2 X Tingitana Central Camp

01.07. to 15.10. – 1 X Tingitana Central Camp and 1 X Tingitana North Camp

16.10. to 21.12. – 2 X Tingitana Central Camp

Day 4 – Zanzibar

06.30h early morning game viewing. Breakfast at the camp. 10.30h transfer to nearby airstrip. Depart on scheduled Flight Link flight to Zanzibar via Arusha 11.30h – 13.45h (baggage allowance including all hand luggage 20 kg). On arrival at Zanzibar International Airport transfer to Villa Kiva Boutique Hotel for dinner overnight (sea view rooms).


Day 5 – Zanzibar

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure to relax by the swimming pool or on the beach. Lunch is not included. Dinner and overnight at Villa Kiva Boutique Hotel. (sea view rooms)

Day 7 – Zanzibar

Day 8 – Stone Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to Stone Town. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight at Tembo House Hotel.

Note: Tembo House Hotel does not serve alcoholic drinks. Lunch and dinner (alcoholic drinks also served) can optionally be taken at the famous Livingstone Beach Restaurant, next door to Tembo House Hotel or at 6 Degrees South Restaurnat

Day 9 – Depart

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Zanzibar International Airport. Homebound departure flight.

    Chui Safari was something Unique. i have travel to Tanzania, 2 times, but this time i was so much happy with all the arrangements and the trip. the places i have been and the animals i have seen is 100%. i promise i will return.

    Chui Safari is a well plained itinerary for a best vacation in the wild. I and my family realy enjoyed every moment we used in the Safari. all lodges we have used we well organised and decorated, lovely food, lovely driver and his vehicle. everything thing was just very well planned. alot of credits to the company.

    the guide was well lite and perfect to every safari destination and animals. we manage to get lots of history and behavior of each animal we saw. we were really taken care off on the hotels

    Thanks to the expertise of our guide/driver, we saw a host of wonderful animals and birds – an experience that took our breath away. It was great to see the Mara at different times of the day, from sunrise to sunset
